My Journey in Monetizing a Project: Correspondence Chess with Paddle

After dedicating over a year to developing Language Dove, I reached a pivotal moment to start monetizing the platform. In this article, I share my experiences with two payment processing options: the American merchant of record, Paddle, and an internet acquiring service from IDBank in Armenia. I will detail the integration process with the service I ultimately chose. Paddle stood out due to its user-friendly interface and comprehensive support for various payment methods, making it an appealing option for my needs. On the other hand, IDBank offered competitive rates and local support, which were also tempting. Throughout this journey, I learned valuable lessons about the importance of selecting the right payment processor that aligns with your project’s goals and audience. I hope my insights will assist others in navigating the complexities of project monetization.
