Unprecedented Patch Tuesday for June 2026

Microsoft faced backlash after suggesting potential legal action against this researcher but later clarified its stance on reporting illegal activities instead. Furthermore, the company addressed a zero-day vulnerability in Visual Studio Code that could allow attackers to steal GitHub tokens. Other software companies, including Adobe and Google, also released significant updates this month, highlighting a broader trend in software security.
